About Hyderabad

Hyderabad is the capital city of the state of Telangana in south-central India and is also de jure capital of the state of Andhra Pradesh. It is the largest and most-populous city in Telangana and is the major urban centre for all of south-central interior India. Hyderabad is situated on the banks of Musi river occupying 650 square kilometres. At an average altitude of 542 metres (1,778 ft), much of Hyderabad is situated on hilly terrain around artificial lakes, including Hussain Sagar lake. Hyderabad City has a population of about 6.9 million, with about 9.7 million in Hyderabad Metropolitan Region, making it the fourth-most populous city and sixth-most populous urban agglomeration in India. Hyderabad has a tropical wet and dry climate bordering on a hot semi-arid climate. Average temperatures during the month of March are from 20 ℃ to 40 ℃.
City of Hyderabad has many historics landmarks and tourist places to visit especially Charminar, Golconda Fort, Hussain Sagar Lake, Buddha Statue - Lumbini Park, Salarjung Museum, Qutub Shahi Tombs, Falaknuma Palace, Nehru Zoological Park, Birla Temple & Planeterim, Ramoji Film City and many more. It is also known as the City of Pearls. It is also famous all over the world for its cuisine especially Hyderabadi Biryani and Hyderabadi Haleem.

Institute is located near Bachupally Village, Medchal Dist. and is about 8 km from Miyapur crossroad and about 6 km from JNTU Kukatpally on NH-9. Hyderabad, capital city of Telangana state, is well-connected by rail, road and air to all the parts of the country.
Air Travel: The nearest airport is Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, about 75 kms from the VNRVJIET campus (approx. 1.5 hrs drive).

Rail Travel: The city is served by three majors railway stations, namely Secunderabad, Hyderabad (Nampally) and Kacheguda connecting it to all parts of India. These railway stations are located at a distance of about 24 km from the VNRVJIET campus. Interested participants are advised to make railway reservation well in advance.
Road Travel: Public transports such as TSRTC City Buses, auto-rickshaws, Uber/Ola cabs and taxi are available from Railway and Bus Station. Shared auto vehicles are also available from these locations.

Lodging and Accommodation

Hotel accommodations are available in close vicinity of the Institute at affordable rates. Nearby locations of hotels are Kukatpally, Miyapur & HiTech City. More details about the accommodation will be provided in the conference website in future.

Visa Information

In order to attend this conference by a foreign national participant (excluding the countries for which the visa requirement is exempted by the Government of India), an e-conference visa or a short stay visa (also known as Indian visa) is required to attend the conference. The visa should be applied for at the consular office of the country of residence.
